CHANDIGARH, AUG 11
The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to India Mr. Jan Luyks made a courtesy call on Governor, Haryana Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki who is also Governor of Punjab and Administrator U.T. Chandigarh at Haryana Raj Bhavan here today.
Discussing various issues at length with the Ambassador, Prof. Solanki said that Haryana and Punjab both states are well known for their very fertile land, availability of water and hard working farmers. He suggested for strengthening partnership in agri-related ventures, especially food processing which has a major scope of collaboration.
Mr. Jan Luyks was accompanied by Mr. Antoine Delcourt, Counselor, Economics Affairs and Mr. Alexis Bossuyt, Trade Commissioner, Flanders Trade and Investment.
