Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki would be the chief guest on the first day of the Kurukshetra Mahotsava - State Level Gita Jayanti Samaroh to be organised at Kurukshetra from December 17 to 21, 2015. Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal would perform ‘Deep-Daan’ in Brahma Sarovar on the concluding day of the Samaroh on December 21, 2015.
A circular to this effect has been issued by the Chief Secretary’s Office to all Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners in the State, here today. Urban Local Bodies Minister, Mrs. Kavita Jain and Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr. Kanwar Pal Gujjar would be present in the functions to be organised on December 18 and 19 respectively. Similarly, MLA, Mr. Subhash Sudha and Haryana Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma would be present in the functions to be held in the morning and evening of December 20 respectively. MLAs, Mr. Subhash Sudha and Mr. Pawan Saini would be present in the function on December 21.
The Haryana Government would also celebrate Gita Jayanti Samaroh in every district from December 19 to 21, 2015. The Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal would be the chief guest in the function to be held at Karnal on December 19, and would also perform ‘Deep-Daan’ in Ambala on December 20.
A district level exhibition would be inaugurated on December 19. Food and Supplies Minister, Mr. Karan Dev Kamboj would be present in the function at Karnal, Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma at Ambala, Agriculture Minister, Mr. O.P. Dhankar at Bhiwani, Chief Parliamentary Secretary (CPS), Mr. Bakhshish Singh at Faridabad, Member of Parliament (MP), Mr. Dharambir at Fatehabad, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu at Gurgaon and State BJP President, Mr. Subhash Barala at Hisar. MLAs, Mr. Randhir Singh Kapriwas and Mr. Dinesh Kaushik would be present at the functions in Jhajjar on the same day. Minister of State for Excise and Taxation, Mr. Ghanshyam Saraf, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Krishan Bedi, MLA, Dr. Abhey Singh, Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh and CPS, Mrs. Seema Trikha would be present at Jind, Kaithal, Narnaul, Mewat and Palwal respectively. He said that MLAs, Mr. Gian Chand Gupta and Mrs. Latika Sharma, Transport Minister, Mr. Krishan Panwar, Cooperation Minister, Mr. Bikram Singh Yadav, Social Justice and Empowerment, Mrs. Kavita Jain, Minister of State for Mines and Geology, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, MP, Mr. Ramesh Kaushik and Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr. Kanwar Pal Gujjar would be present at Panchkula, Panipat, Rewari, Rohtak, Sirsa, Sonipat and Yamunanagar respectively.
