Personal appearance for re-verification of farmers not required

CHANDIGARH, JAN 11
 In Haryana, now there is no need for personal appearance for re-verification of farmers or beneficiaries in treasuries or sub-treasuries as the State Government has decided that the Treasury Officer or Assistant Treasure Officer will not insist for their personal appearance during processing of land acquisition payments in treasuries or sub-treasuries, subject to fulfilling other conditions.
          Stating this here today, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu said that now with the introduction of E-billing system, such type of refund vouchers are prepared by the Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) concerned after due verification of payee’s list with their bank account and is presented in treasury through authorized messenger.
          He said that in the manual process, the procedure of making such type of payment was that the farmers or beneficiaries were required to be present and sign the payment vouchers as a token of receipt in the treasuries. This procedure was creating lot of inconvenience to the farmers or beneficiaries, he added.
          All the Additional Chief Secretaries and Principal Secretaries in the State, all Heads of Department, all Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners and all Sub Divisional Officers (Civil) have been asked to ensure the strict compliance of these instructions, he added further.
ONE HCS OFFICER TRANSFERRED:  Haryana government has issued transfer and posting orders of one HCS officer with immediate effect.
          Mr Ashwani Malik, Sub Divisional  Officer (Civil), Indri has been given the additional charge of General Manager, HAFED Sugarmill, Assandh during the leave period of Mr Sushil Kumar.
SELECTION GRADE FOR ARYA: Chandigarh January 11: Haryana government has granted selection grade to Mr Rakesh Kumar Arya, IPS in the pay band-4 of Rs 37,400-67,000 plus grade pay of Rs 8700 with effect from January 1,2016.
 30-BEDDED HOSPITAL: Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal has approved-in–principal the setting up of 30 bedded mother and child hospital in Civil Dispensary at Charkhi Dadri, district Bhiwani.
   While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the Chief Minister has also approved the transfer of land of gram panchayat Singar to Higher Education Department for the construction of building of Government College, Punhana.
 HEAD CONSTABLE CONVICTED: Court of Additional Session Judge, Narnaul has convicted Head Constable Sunder Singh with two years imprisonment with fine of Rs 3,000 in a corruption case.
            While stating that here today, a spokesman of Haryana State Vigilance Bureau said that a case was registered under Section 7/13 of Prevention of Corruption Act against the accused at Bureau’s police station at Gurgaon.
