Setting up Haryana Bhawan in Chennai

CHANDIGARH, FEB 10
While assuring all assistance of the State Government for setting up of “Haryana Bhawan” in Chennai, Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal today exhorted the Haryanvis settled in Chennai to expand their base in Haryana by setting up industrial units as this would not only provide ample employment opportunities to the youth, but would also ensure overall development of the State.
          Mr Manohar Lal was speaking at a felicitation function organized by Haryana Seva Samiti, Chennai in Chennai today.
          He said that there is a need for Haryana Bhawan in Chennai and the State Government would offer all support and cooperation for the same. He also asked the Samiti to depute a responsible and educated person in the Bhawan so that first hand important information about Haryana could be shared with the Haryanvis settled in Chennai.
          The Chief Minister said that during the tenure of present State Government, Haryana has become a favourite destination for the industries of national and international repute. He said that Haryana has a locational advantage as it surrounds the National Capital, Delhi from three sides and has close proximity to International Airport in New Delhi. He also asked them   to adopt their native villages under the Sweh Prerit Adarsh Gram Yojana to ensure their overall development. He said that there were about 6500 villages in the State. Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojna and Vidhayak Adarsh Gram Yojna has already been implemented under which MPs and MLAs have been asked to choose atleast one village of their choice for development.
             Mr Manohar Lal said that after he assumed the office of Chief Minister, people have started feeling change on all fronts. The Government has put a complete check on corruption and various e-services have been started to ensure transparency in people centric services.
         President Haryana Seva Samiti, Chennai Mr Krishan Lal Goyal was all praise for the Chief Minister. He said that under the leadership of Mr Manohar Lal, Haryana is progressing at a rapid pace and hoped that the State would touch even greater heights in the time to come.
          Haryana Chief Secretary, Irrigation Mr Ram Niwas gave introductory remarks on Pravasi Haryana Divas scheduled to be held at Gurgaon on March 9, 2016.
          Haryana Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Mr Sanjeev Kaushal, Managing Director, HSIIDC, Mr Sudhir Rajpal and a large number of Haryanvis based at Chennai were also present on this occasion.
