Haryana frames new transfer policy for teachers

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 10
The Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal, has said that a new transfer policy has been framed for the teachers and residential accommodation will be arranged for such teachers as are posted far away from their home region. Teachers posted in the remote areas would also be provided incentives.
Speaking at a panel discussion on ‘Innovation – the need of the hour in schools’ after inaugurating Vega Global School in Sector 48, Gurgaon, today, the Chief Minister said that a Teachers Training
Programme had been launched to bring about improvement in the quality of education in the rural areas and the process of recruitment of teachers to regular posts was underway.
     He said that with a view to fulfilling the vision of the Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, the Haryana Government was working to provide quality education to the students according to their age and capacity. Assessment of the working of government teachers is being done and those who perform well would be felicitated.
Those present on the occasion included the Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, MLA, Sohna, Mr. Tejpal Tanwar, Commissioner, Gurgaon Division, Dr. D. Suresh, other
leaders and prominent personalities.
