The Haryana Secondary Education Department has released the schedule for State Level School Sports Tournaments, 2016-17.
While giving this information here today, a spokesman of the department said that the tournaments would be organized by the District Education Officers of Bhiwani, Panipat, Kurukshetra, Hisar, Rohtak, Yamunanagar, Panchkula, Jind, Gurgaon, Sonipat , Jhajjar, Karnal, Kaithal, Ambala, Mahendergarh, Rewari and Sirsa.
He said that in district Bhiwani, Football Pre Subroto and Pre-Nehru Hockey tournament of girls under -17 would be organized from July 28 to 30, in district Panipat Football Pre-Subroto of boys under 14 and 17 from July 28 to 30, Pre-Nehru Hockey of boys under 15 and 17 in Sahabad in district Kurukshetra from July 28 to 30, Archery of boys and girls under 14,17 and 19, Boxing of girls under 17 and 19, Judo, Wrestling F/S under 14 and 19 and Wrestling G/R under 19 of boys in Hisar from September 8 to 10, Football of boys under 19, Volleyball of boys and girls under 17 and Taekwondo of boys and girls under 14,17 and 19 in Bhiwani from September 8 to 10,Hockey of boys and girls under 14, Baseball of boys and girls under 14 and 19 and Roller Hockey of boys under 19 in Rohtak from September 8 to 10, Basketball of boys under 17 and 19, Shooting of boys and girls under 14,17and 19, Football of boys under 14 and 17 and Handball of boys and girls under 14 in Panipat from September 13 to 15 and Judo of girls under 14,17 and 19, weightlifting of boys and girls under 17 and 19, Netball of boys and girls under 14 and Tennis of boys under 14,17 and 19 in Yamunanagar from September 13 to 15.
The spokesman said that in district Panchkula athletic of boys and girls under 17, Fencing girls under 14,17and 19, Badminton of boys and girls under 14 and 19 and Tennis tournament of girls under 14,17 and 19 would be held from September 13 to 15. In Jind, Fencing of boys under 14,17 and 19, Kabaddi of boys and girls under 14 and 19, Boxing boys under 14,17 and 19, Handball of boys under 17 and 19 from September 13 to 15. In Gurgaon, Hockey of boys under 19, Chess of boys and girls under 14,17 and 19, Basketball of boys and girls under 14 and Cricket boys under 14 from September 19 to 21. In Sonipat, Badminton and Hockey of boys and girls under 17, Wrestling F/S of boys and girls under 17 and19 and Cricket of boys under 19 from October 4 to 6. In Jhajjar, Netball of boys and girls under 17 and 19 , Cricket of boys under 17 and Kabaddi of boys and girls under 14 from October 4 to 6. In Kurukshetra, Cycling of boys and girls under 17 and 19 , Hockey of girls under 19 and Football of girls under 14 and 17 from October 13 to 15. In Karnal, Volleyball of girls under 14 and 19, Basketball of girls under 17 and 19, Cricket of girls under 19 and Yoga of girls under 14,17 and 19 from October 19 to 21.
