Haryana Govt clinches 558 MoU with total invest of Rs 6.41 lakh crore

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 24
 The present Haryana Government has clinched 558 Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a total potential investment of Rs 6.41 lakh crore, as a follow up of the Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit  held  in March 2016.
          While stating this today, Managing Director of Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC), Mr Sudhir Rajpal said that   out of these , 359 MoUs with the potential investment of Rs 5.84 lakh crore were signed during Happening Haryana Global Investor Summit, 2016. Continuous efforts are being made for grounding of the MoUs in the State.
          He said that with E-Biz Portal, about 140   of the investors have successfully filled their applications and now the approvals are being given under this procedure in a time bound manner.The state has been divided into four categories of development blocks that is A, B, C and D,  for incentive support. Efforts are being made for grounding the investment in Block C and D in the State, which included Districts of Hisar, Ambala, Yamunanagar, Rewari, Jind and Mohindergarh.
He said that the progress of 23 projects was  reviewed. These have a scope  of total Investment of Rs 41,800 crore and a total employment potential of 51000. A few proposed investors in C Block are M/s Forum Agro Foods with proposed investment of Rs. 100 crore with proposed employment of 1000, M/s Ambience Health Care and Sports Club with proposed investment of Rs. three crore and proposed employment of 50, OM Shanti Educational Trust with proposed investment of Rs four crore and in D Block M/s Dhanda Exporters and Company with proposed investment of Rs. 1.25 crore with proposed employment potential of 45. These projects  are at  advanced stage of clearance and within next few days they will be getting approvals from the concerned departments. There are more than 200 MoU where location has not been specified. Efforts are being made to impress upon them to make their investment in C and D blocks of the State, he added.
SATAT MILAP TOUR:  The nine districts of Haryana that are home to over 2.5 lakh veterans and Army widows, would be covered under ‘Satat Milap Tour’ which was flagged off by 33 Armoured Division at Hisar Military Station today.
The tour aims at connecting with veterans and Army widows residing in the southern districts of Hisar, Sirsa, Fatehabad, Rohtak, Jhajjar, Jind, Rewari, Bhiwani and Mahendragarh. The tour will culminate on October 4, 2016.
 The nine Satat Milap teams of various regiments participating in the tour would establish contact with maximum number of ex-servicemen or their surviving dependents, and register them on Army Veterans’ Grievance Handling Portal to facilitate the veteran fraternity to avail maximum benefits of the schemes entitled tothem.It would also provide an opportunity to the teams to serve the veterans by taking up individual cases of pension and documentation anomalies, and project them at appropriate level so as to expedite redressal of their grievances.
NEED TO TEACH A LESSON TO PAKISTAN: The Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr. Ramdas Athawale today said that it has become necessary to teach, at least once, a lesson to the country like Pakistan, which supports terrorism. The big countries like America, Russia and China should support India on this issue.
The Union Minister, who was interacting with media persons in Rohtak today condemned the Uri terror attack and criticised Pakistan for promoting terrorist activities and exerting its claim over Kashmir, which belongs only to India.
