Cabinet approves PWD proposal to close five toll points

CHANDIGARH, OCT 26
The Haryana Cabinet, which met under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Manohar Lal,  here today approved the proposal of the Public Works (Building and Roads) Department to close five toll points after the expiry of their present agreement and install three new toll points, in the State, near Inter-state borders.
          The five toll points which are to be closed include Gurugram-Pataudi road at km 10 near Gurgaon. Its toll agreement would close on December 12,2017; Gurgaon-Farrukh Nagar-Jhajjar road at km 7 near Gurugram as its toll agreement would complete on August 27,2017. The third toll point is Neval Gheer Garhi Birbal road at km 1 and at km 52. Its date of completion of toll agreement is November 30,2016. The toll agreement of Pehowa-Ladwa-Saharanpur Haridwar road, Section 3rd gate of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra to Pehowa at km 98, would close on November 15,2016 and that of Karnal Rambha Indri Ladwa road, at km 27 would close on October 17,2016, but the agreement would close on November 15,2016 because it has one month’s extension.
          The three new toll points which would be installed after completion of repair work include Palwal-Jewar-Aligarh road, Ateli to Kheri road in Mahendragarh district and Narnaul-Koriawas-Rambass road upto Rajasthan border in Mahendragarh district.
RISK ALLOWANCE:  The Haryana Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal said that the State Government has decided to extend the period of monthly risk allowance of Rs 5000   admissible to the employees of police department upto March 31, 2017.
           Mr Manohar Lal was addressing a press conference   after presiding over a meeting of the State Cabinet here today.
          He said that earlier, this incentive  was admissible to the employees of police department up to December 31, 2015, but in the larger interest of the employees, the State Government has decided to further extend its period.
