Dr. Sullar takes oath as as Registrar, Lokayukta,

CHANDIGARH, NOV 28
Haryana Lokayukta Mr Justice N.K. Agarwal (Retd.) administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr. Manjit Singh Sullar as Registrar, Lokayukta, here today.
        Born in a reputed family of Advocates, Dr Sullar has practiced as an Advocate in Ambala City before joining   HCS (Judicial) in year 1981. Later on, he was promoted as Chief Judicial Magistrate, Additional District and Sessions Judge as well as District and Sessions Judge and served at Sonipat, Panchkula and Karnal. He also served as Legal Remembrancer  and Law Secretary, Haryana and Member Secretary, State Legal Service Authority, U.T. Chandigarh.
During his service he did LLM. and Ph.D. from Kurukshetra University,Kurukshetra.
        After retirement, he joined as President of District Consumer Forum, U.T. Chandigarh.
Chandigarh, Nov 28 – Haryana Government has attached temporarily Waseem Akram, ASP/Narwana as ADC to Governor,Haryana  during the leave period of Major Krishna Singh from December 7, 2016 to January 2, 2017.
        During this temporary attachment, Mr. Akram would also hold the present charge of ASP, Narwana.
HONOURING EXPORTING UNITS:  Haryana Government has decided to honour exporting units of the State at a State Level Export Awards distribution function to be organised at Gurugram on November 30, 2016.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Industries and Commerce Department said that Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal would be the Chief Guest  and Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr. Vipul Goel, would be the Guest of Honour on this occasion.
 VISHAL SETH APPOINTED:  The Haryana Government has appointed Mr. Vishal Seth as Technical Advisor in Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Department.
 An engineering professional with BE Civil from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology ,Patiala, Mr Vishal Seth has 24 years experience in various fields. He is also a member of Governing Council, Indian Building Congress, New Delhi under the leadership of Union Minister of Urban Development.
REGISTRATION OF PROPERTIES: Haryana has recorded a slight increase in registration of properties   after demonetization of old notes of higher denominations on November 8.
        While stating this here today, Finance Minister Capt. Abhimanyu said that this difference in number of registries has been revealed after comparison of their data  between November 1 to 8, 2016 and after announcement of denomination that is from November 9 to 21.
        He said that 8648 properties were registered in various districts in the state from November 1 to 8 as against registration of  8995 properties from November 9 to 21.
        He said that a maximum of 1032 registries were made in district Gurugram from November 9 to 21 as compared to   952   from November 1 to 8. Similarly,in Faridabad 676 registries were recorded after demonetization upto November 21   whereas 537 properties were registered between November 1 and 8.
        He said that in district Nuh, 222 registries were recorded after demonetization as compared to 150 before demonetization of old currency  notes. Capt. Abhimanyu said that demonetization had no adverse impact on the registration of properties in the state
        The Finance Minister described the demonetization as a very significant  decision in the interest of the country by the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi and added that it would have a positive impact on the country's future. This decision is against black money, terrorism, corruption and Maoism. The BJP led State Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal, right from the beginning, is checking corruption by framing policies which resulted in fruitful results. A number of services have been made online by the state government which resulted in checking corruption and added to the facilities to the common people. He said that demonetization of old notes of higher demonetization   would have a positive impact on state revenue. People of the state and the country have welcomed the Central Government’s decision withy open heart.
         While urging the people to support the government’s decision of demonetization, the Minister said that people should try to make all transactions cashless as such a  practice would  check black money.
INCURRING EXPENDITURE: Haryana Finance Department has  allowed all the Administrative Departments to incur expenditure up to 70 per cent under Plan or Non-Plan object heads up to the end of third quarter that is December 31, 2016 of the current fiscal.
       While stating this here today, a spokesman of Finance Department said that instructions for incurring expenditure under Plan or Non-Plan schemes have been issued to  all Heads of Departments, Registrar General, Punjab and Haryana High Court, all Divisional Commissioners  and Deputy Commissioners .
        He said that earlier, the Administrative Departments were allowed to incur expenditure upto 25 per cent in first quarter, 20 per cent in second quarter, 25 per cent in third quarter and 30 per cent in fourth quarter without any reference on this account to the Finance Department.
