Haryana to construct 'green road' at Lokra

CHANDIGARH, NOV 19
Haryana’s first “Green Road” will be constructed at village Lokra, Pataudi in district Gurugram. The 2.24 kilometre long road would be constructed by State Public Works (Building and Roads) Department at a cost of Rs1.25 lakh.  Sand will be used in this latest technique of road construction rather than bitumen and other elements spreading pollution.
