Haryana to provide 53 new services through CSCs

CHANDIGARH, NOV 18
The Haryana Government would soon provide 53 new services through the Common Service Centres (CSCs) in the State. This would bring the total number of such services to 281.
        This was disclosed in a review meeting of services being provided through the CSCs, held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi here today.
        It was informed in the meeting that at present, 117 services are being provided through the State Government and 12 services through the Central Government, whereas 99 services are being provided through B2C.
        The new 53 services would include five services each of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, 19 of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, three of Home Department, 18 of Urban Local Bodies Department and three services of Public Health Engineering Department.
        It was also informed that 4,751 CSCs have been established in the State till November 14, 2016 and 9,58,563 transactions to the tune of Rs 22.18 crore have been made  at these centres from April 1 to November 14, 2016.
COMMUNAL HARMONY WEEK: Haryana Government has decided to observe the   Communal Harmony Campaign Week from November 19 to 25, 2016 and Flag Day on November 25.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Communal Harmony Campaign Week and Flag Day were observed in the country every year. The objective of the programmes organised during the week is to increase awareness about importance of communal harmony and national integration, he added.
