CHANDIGARH, NOV 30
The Haryana Government has decided to directly recruit 50,000 employees on contract basis, instead of through contractors, under its Outsourcing Policy.
While stating this here today, Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij, said that these employees would be recruited to fill up vacant posts in different departments. This would help in accelerating the pace of administrative work.
He said that he had always been advocating against continuing the Outsourcing Policy, but the previous governments did not take any initiative in this regard. However, the present government has decided to recruit employees on contract basis directly through the departments until regular recruitment, so as to end the practice of hiring through contractors in the State, he added.
