Ram Bilas Sharma to receive IEBF Excellence Award in London

CHANDIGARH, NOV 7
 Haryana Tourism Minister Ram Bilas Sharma will receive the IEBF Excellence Award at ‘Global Business Meet-2016’ on ‘Make in India’ in London where he would also inaugurate Haryana Tourism Stall at ‘World Travel Mart-2016’.
                While stating this here today, a spokesman of Haryana Tourism said that Mr Ram Bilas Sharma today left for a 10-day tour to London, United Kingdom.
          He said that the Minister would inaugurate Haryana Tourism Stall on November 8, and he would brief media persons   besides interacting with visitors at the India Pavillion at ‘World Travel Mart-2016’ on November 9. He said that on November 13, Mr. Sharma would attend ‘Haryana Golden Jubilee’ programme organised by Haryanvis living in London at VHK Auditorium 2, Lady Margaret Road, Southall. He would be the keynote speaker in a session on ‘Globalisation of Indian Education System’ at the House of Parliament, London on November 14.
          He said that Mr. Sharma would receive the IEBF Excellence Award at the ‘Global Business Meet-2016’ on ‘Make in India’ at Lord’s Cricket Ground, London on November 16.
          The Minister is accompanied by Managing Director, Haryana Tourism Development Corporation, Mr. Sameer Pal Srow.
RAJINI KAANTHAN GOES TO CENTRE: The Haryana Government has placed the services of C.G. Rajini Kaanthan at the disposal of government of India for appointment as Director of Census Operations (DCO)/ Director of Citizen Registration (DCR) (Deputy Secretary Level), Tamil Nadu and Puducherry for three years.
BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES: Haryana Governor, Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki, today extended heartiest congratulations to Bharat Scouts and Guides on the occasion of the ‘Flag and Foundation Day’ of the Bharat Scouts and Guides Association and expressed hope that it would continue to serve the society.
        On the occasion, officers of Bharat Scouts and Guides called on the Governor at Haryana Raj Bhavan here and presented him with flag sticker and scarf of the Association.
        State Secretary, Bharat Scouts and Guides, Mr. S.S. Kaushal, informed the Governor that eight lakh Scouts and Guides were serving in Haryana. He said that while Haryana accounts for only two per cent of the total population of the country, about 14 per cent of the Scouts and Guides in the country belong to the State, making it the third-largest contributor to the Association after Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
DEPUTY SECRETARY POSTING: Haryana Government has ordered that Mr Narinder Ahuja, HSS-I, Deputy Secretary, under posting as Deputy Secretary, Haryana Raj Bhawan  will be Deputy Secretary Transport and Inquiry Officer Transport in addition vice Mr Balwan Singh, who proceeded on leave.
VIDHAN SABHA PROROGUED:  Haryana Governor Prof. Kaptan Singh Solanki has prorogued the Haryana Vidhan Sabha.
