Haryana Govt nominates members of MCs

CHANDIGARH, DEC 15
The Haryana Government has nominated persons as members of various Municipal Councils, Municipal Committees and Municipal Corporation.
            While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Mr Suraj Pandey and Mr Yatinder Goyal have been nominated for Municipal Committee, Hathin.
            Mr Ashok Joshi and Mr Dinesh Rao have been nominated for Municipal Committee, Dharuhera.
            Mr Vinod Garg and Mr Dharmender have been nominated for Municipal Committee, Taoru.
            Mr Prakash Saini and Mr Karan Singh have been nominated for Municipal Committee, Haily Mandi.
            Mr Jai Parkash Mishra and Mr Ajeet Yadav for Municipal Committee, Pataudi.
            Mr Satish Arora and Mrs Rajbala have been nominated for Municipal Committee, Kharkhoda.
            Mr Ved Jangra, Mr Tilak Raj Bhatia and Mr Ramdev Bhardwaj have been nominated for Municipal Council, Tohana.
            He said that Mr Pawan Kumar, Mr Sushil Kumar and Mr Surender Kumar have been nominated for Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar.
FREE PARKING FOR PATIENTS:  Haryana Health Minister, Mr. Anil Vij, has directed to provide free parking facility to patients and their attendants visiting PGIMS, Rohtak.
        This decision has been taken in view of the appeal for exemption of parking fee made by the people from Rohtak and nearby areas, to the Health Minister.
        The people, along with non-governmental organisations (NGOs), had stated that the State Government had been providing free and affordable treatment facility to people at PGIMS. However, they were being charged high rates of parking fees. They had also complained that they had to leave the hospital premises for fruits, food and other necessary items, and the parking contractor charged parking fee for every visit, which also resulted in quarrels many times.
WOMEN HELPLINE PANEL: Haryana Government has constituted a State Steering and Monitoring Committee under the Chairpersonship of Administrative Secretary, Women and Child Development Department to monitor and evaluate the functioning of Women Helpline annually.
            While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the other members of the Committee would include representative of Home Department, Director General, Health Services, General Manager, Telecom District BSNL, Ambala Cantt., Member Secretary, State Legal Services Authority, General Secretary, Bhartiya Grameen Mahila Sangh (NGO) and Honorary General Secretary, Haryana State Child Welfare Council. The Director, Women and Child Development would be the Member Secretary of the Committee, he added.
