Anil Vij to inaugurate Dialysis Centre in Panchkula

Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij will inaugurate Dialysis Centre in Sector 6, Panchkula on February 23, 2017.
          While stating this today, Director General, Health, Dr. Praveen Garg said that with the opening of this centre, people of the area would get the facility at an affordable price. Its trial has been started and so far 300 patients have availed of this facility. As compared to Rs 2,000 or more   being charged for dialysis facility in the market, this centre would provide it at a cost of Rs 959 and the fee for the tube would be Rs 272.
          MLA Panchkula, Mr. Gian Chand Gupta, MLA Kalka, Mrs. Latika Sharma and Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Mr. Rajan Gupta would also grace the inaugural function.
YOG CAMP IN KAITHAL:  The Haryana Government would organise a three-day State Level Yoga Competition at R.K.S.D College, Kaithal from February 28 to March 2, 2017. As many as 500 participants between the age   of eight and 25 years would participate from all districts of the state.
          While stating this here today, Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Mr. Anil Vij said that only those yoga practitioners, who have won first, second or third place at district level would be allowed to participate in this competition. He said that 12 girls and 12 boys from every district would participate and they would be given track suits by the Department.
          The Additional Chief Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Dr. K.K. Khandelwal said that the participants would be divided into four age groups, that is, 8-12 years, 12-15 years, 15-19 years and 19-25 years. The participants would have to perform compulsory yoga asanas namely ‘Shirspada angusthasana’, ‘Paschimottanasan’, ‘Dhanurasna (simple)’, ‘Ardhamatsendrasan’ and ‘Sarvangasana’.
          He said that for participants of  age groups 8-12 and 12-15 years would have the option to perform ‘Uthit-ekpadasikandasan’ or ‘Dwipadshikandasan’, ‘Padangusth-Dhanurasan’ or ‘Dimbasan’, ‘Purnabhujangasan’ or ‘Purnaustrasan’ and ‘Suptgarbhasan’ or ‘Yognidra’. Similarly, for those in the age group 15-19 and 19-25 years, would have the option to perform ‘Dandayman Janusirasan’ or ‘Natrajasana’, ‘Dwipadasikandasan’ or ‘Omkarasan’, ‘Vibhaktpaschimottan’ or ‘Hanumanasan’ and ‘Vrischik’ or ‘Puran Salbhasan (feet on head)’. Apart from this, they would perform any one asana of their choice, he added.
          Dr. Khandelwal said that all the interested yoga practitioners would have to reach the R.K.S.D College, Kaithal on February 27. For the successful organisation of the competition, a meeting would be held in the office of District Sports and Youth Affairs Officer concerned and it would be mandatory for all yoga instructors to attend. The competition would be inaugurated on February 28, 2017, he added.
