HSIIDC to provide online approval of zoning plans

CHANDIGARH, APRIL 12
Extending a major relief to allottees of industrial plots and easing further the ease of doing business in the state, the Haryana State Industrial & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (HSIIDC) has launched another initiative of providing online approval of zoning plans through the portal www.hsiidcesewa.org.in.
Disclosing this here today, Mr Sudhir Rajpal, IAS, Managing Director, HSIIDC, said it was yet another attempt by the corporation to improve interface with clients and provide more comfort to the allottees. From now onwards, the allottees/ industrialists can file online application/ request for approval of the zoning plan of their plots through the portal.
The allottees/ industrialists will not be required to visit the head office/ estate office for seeking approval of the zoning plan. The corporation has also fixed the right-to-service time-line of 15 days for approval of the zoning plan with a view to making itself accountable.
The request filed by the allottee can be tracked through dashboard. This would not only enhance the transparency level but would also help in cutting down on unnecessary delays in manual clearances and result in saving time and travel. This initiative would go a long way in facilitating the entrepreneurs, he added.
Mr Rajpal said the corporation implemented its e-governance project in 2014 under which, various services pertaining to the applicants/ allottees were made online through the e-governance portal www.hsiidcesewa.org.in.
Under this initiative, the prospective entrepreneurs can make online request for offerings of allotment of industrial plots. The allottees can file online applications for various other services like physical possession, conveyance deed, transfer, extension etc. They can also remit payment in respect of the plot with the support of e-Governance portal in electronic/offline mode enabling faster reconciliation.
The corporation has integrated 18 services i.e. Allotment of Plot/Shed, Change of Name, Physical Possession, Conveyance deed, Extension, Transfer, Surrender, Water Connection Application, Sewer Connection Application, Change of Plot, Occupation Certificate, Project completion certificate, Change of Project, Leasing/Renting, Change in Constitution, Water Disconnection Application, Sewer Disconnection Application and Building Plan with the RAS (Rapid Assessment System) platform of GoI (available at http://ras.gov.in) where the citizen feedback is requested from each citizen (to whom the service is delivered) through various channels like SMS, Web, etc.
This system is a step towards improving service delivery and bringing in more transparency into the system, Mr Rajpal added.
