President to visit village Daula

CHANDIGARH, MAY 25
 The President, Mr. Pranab Mukherjee, would visit village Daula, district Gurugram and lay foundation stones of building of Government Senior Secondary School and driving school in the village under the Smart Gram initiative on June 2, 2017.
        This was disclosed by Haryana Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, in a meeting of officers to review preparations for the President’s visit, held at the Haryana Civil Secretariat here today.
        The Chief Minister held the meeting immediately after his return from his five-day visit to Singapore and Hong Kong. Chief Secretary, Mr. D.S. Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Mr. Rajesh Khullar and Principal Secretary, Monitoring and Coordination Department, Mr. T.C. Gupta were also present in the meeting.
        Earlier, upon arriving in Delhi, Mr. Manohar Lal informed media persons that five Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) involving potential investment of about Rs 20,000 crore in Haryana had been signed during the visit. “Entrepreneurs in both countries have evinced keen interest in investing in Haryana,” he added.
        He was accompanied during the visit by Industries and Commerce Minister, Mr. Vipul Goel, MLAs and other senior officers of the State Government.
