Non-teaching employees covered under 7th Pay Commission

CHANDIGARH, JUNE 27
The  Haryana Government has decided to implement the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission for the non-teaching employees of the State Universities with effect from January 1, 2016.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of Higher Education Department said that this decision would benefit the non-teaching staff of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, Bhagat Phool Singh Mahila Vishwavidyalaya, Khanpur Kalan, Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind and Chaudhary Bansi Lal University, Bhiwani.
        He said that the recommendations would be implemented with subject to various conditions. As per the conditions, the revised pay scales prescribed are scale to scale to revision, as per Finance Department’s instructions dated October 28, 2016, except in case of Law Officers and Assistant Law Officers. 
          The pay level for the post of Law Officer would be Level-7 and pay level of the post of Assistant Law Officer would be Level-6. However, existing incumbents who are already drawing higher pay scales, would get revised pay scale corresponding to the existing pay scale, as a personal measure. The new pay levels would, however, be applicable on future appointment on these posts. Appointment on the post of Finance Officer, in future, would be made only from Senior Accounts Officer of SAS Cadre.
          He said that university-wise details of pre-revised pay scales and corresponding revised pay scales are available on the website of Higher Education Department.
