Farmers' grievances to be redress by Kisan Panchayats.

CHANDIGARH, AUG 8
 Now the grievances of farmers in Haryana will be redressed by organizing Kisan Panchayats. The government has decided to constitute a five-member team of Ministers headed by Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Mr OP Dhankar which will visit in the state and interact with the farmers to resolve their grievances. 
          This was stated by Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi while interacting with media persons here today. A decision to this effect was taken in a meeting of the Ministers, chaired by Chief Minister Mr Manohar Lal.
          The other members of team include Education Minister Mr Ram Bilas Sharma, Public Works (Building and Roads) Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Mr Krishan Kumar Bedi and Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Mr Nayab Singh Saini. 
          He said that team of Ministers would visit all over the state and organize Kisan panchayats on farmers issues. The team would also inform about various initiatives taken in the interest of farmers by the government during its last three years regime. 
          He said that present government is completing its three years on October 26, 2017 and the concluding of the golden jubilee year on November 1. A big event will also be organized on this occasion. Apart from this, many other important issues have also been discussed in the meeting, he added. 

CDLSIET PANEL DISSOLVED: With a view to bring Chaudhary Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panniwala Mota, district Sirsa under its ambit, the Haryana Government has decided to dissolve the society running the institute.
        This decision was taken unanimously in meeting of Board of Governors of the institute presided over by Education Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, here today. 
        The Minister said that the decision of the State Government to accept the long-pending demand to bring the institute completely under its own ambit would benefit the staff and students. The society had been operating the institute since 2003.

PAY BAND-IV: Meeting of screening committee of Haryana Higher Education Department for granting pay band-IV to Assistant Professors in government colleges of the State would be held under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary of the Department, Dr. Mahavir Singh, in the conference hall, ground floor, Shiksha Sadan, Sector 5, Panchkula on August 17 and 18, 2017 at 10.30 a.m.
        While stating this here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the meeting was earlier scheduled to be held on August 8 and 9 for granting Pay Band-IV (Scale 37400-67000-9000 grade pay) to Assistant Professors.
        He said that written communication in this regard had been sent to all principals of government colleges in the State to ensure that all the cases of Pay Band-IV have been incorporated in the list of cases. If any case has not been incorporated in the list, then they would have to inform the department through e-mail at hechrycollege5@gmail.com by August 9.  
SWISS DELEGATION: A delegation from Switzerland would call on Haryana Tourism Minister, Mr. Ram Bilas Sharma, on August 10, 2017 to discuss possibilities of mutual cooperation in fields such as education, tourism, Information Technology, Smart Cities and agriculture.
        While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that the delegation would visit Haryana ahead of the visit of the President of Switzerland to India next month.
