Minimum educational qualification for Group D posts

CHANDIGARH, SEPT 25
The Haryana Government has decided that minimum educational qualification for Group D posts may be prescribed as ‘Middle Pass’. A circular to this effect was issued by the Chief Secretary, here today.
          The circular states, “For this purpose, the relevant service rules shall be amended by the concerned departments at their own level without obtaining the approval of CMM/GAD/Finance Department and Haryana Staff Selection Commission. However, the said provision may be made in the relevant service rules after getting it vetted from Law Department only.”

BANKS NOTIFIED: The Haryana Government has notified the Haryana State, Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Limited and the District Primary Cooperative Agriculture and Rural Development Bank Limited as a bank for the purposes of the Haryana Agricultural Credit Operations and Miscellaneous Provisions (Banks) Act, 1973.
SELECTION PANELS DISSOLVED:  The Haryana Government has dissolved the Selection Committees constituted by the General Administration Department for conducting interviews of the candidates against the vacancies of Group D posts with immediate effect.
          While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Selection Committee No.1 included City Magistrate as Chairman, whereas District Elementary Education Officer and District Employment Officer as its members.
          He said that Selection Committee No.2 included District Development and Panchayats Officer as Chairman, whereas District Education Officer and Joint or Deputy Director, District Industries Centre as its members.
ADDITIONAL CHARGE: Subhash Chander Sihag, Secretary, Haryana Traders Welfare Board and Sub Divisional Officer (Civil)-cum-Additional Collector, Ambala Cantt, has been given additional charge of Estate Officer, HUDA, Ambala, during the training period of Satinder Siwatch, with immediate effect.
