Vyayamshalas in 1500 villages start functioning

CHANDIGARH, NOV 17
 The Haryana Government has a target to provide all facilities to sports persons in their villages and in this direction, vyayamshalas have been made operational in 1,500 villages of the state.
          This was informed by Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal, who was speaking after inaugurating a vyayamshala in village Aurangabad, district Sonepat today.
          He said that a sports stadium was already there in village Aurangabad and now a vyayamshala has also been opened in the village where sports persons can practice all sports such as wrestling, volleyball, kabaddi, hockey and football. He said that the present State Government has been paying equal attention to both education and sports. He said that new educational institutions were coming up in the Education City which would provide better education opportunities to youth of the area.
          The Chief Minister said that the State Government had set a target to give LPG connection to each woman in the state and has successfully achieved it.

SCHOOL UPGRADED: Haryana Chief Minister . Manohar Lal today announced to upgrade the Government Middle School in Punhana Block of district Nuh, till Class ten plus two.
          The Chief Minister, who was redressing the grievances of people in Janta Darbar held at Government Women College, Salaheri in Nuh today, redressed 270 grievances.
          The Chief Minister ordered for suspension of Civil Surgeon, Nuh, Dr. Ram Siwach. The complainant had alleged that doctors of Al Afia General Hospital, Mandi Khera demand bribe. Regarding a complaint of embezzlement of government funds in Municipal Committee, Nuh, Mr. Manohar Lal directed to get the matter investigated by Vigilance Department. In view of several complaints received against the Reader of Superintendent of Police, Nuh, Ratan Singh, the Chief Minister ordered to transfer him. 
          While redressing a problem, the Chief Minister urged the people to adopt micro and drip irrigation methods, and save water. On a demand regarding replacement of damaged electricity wires, he urged people to reduce line loss so that uninterrupted power could be supplied. He also urged people to stop theft of electricity and pay bills on time.
          He directed the concerned officers on the spot to redress issues related to construction of road, canal water and replacement of electricity wires.
          Earlier today, the Chief Minister dedicated various projects amounting to about Rs119 crore to the people of Nuh.
          Those present included Public Works (Buildings and Roads) Minister, Rao Narbir Singh, Minister of State for Public Health Engineering, Dr. Banwari Lal, MLA, Sohna, Mr. Tejpal Tanwar and others.
